With
a little planning, the right outfits can really make a
difference. Here are a few suggestions to help you
through your coordinating process.
Children's
Portrait Tip's
|
 |
For a "timeless" portrait, solid
colored, long-sleeved outfits are the best choice.
These show off your child's facial features and expressions
without shifting attention to the outfit. Colorful
clothing works great as a secondary outfit....usually
something fun and bright. Make sure to bring along
any props or toys that are important to your child.
We take the time for your child to relax and have
fun. Children grow so fast....we need to capture
every moment we can. |

Family
Portrait Tip's
|
 |
We recommend that everyone be dressed in the
same tones...all in dark, mid-tones or all light.
This helps maintain a color harmony to avoid any
unnecessary distractions. Khaki pants with colors
such as black, navy, hunter or burgundy always look
great....especially for outdoor portraits. We also
feel that long sleeves and solid colors work best.
During your session we will photograph any groups you would
like. Feel free to bring a second outfit for a
completely different look. |

Senior
Portrait Tip's
|
 |
We usually end up using between 5-7
different outfits. Bring a variety of clothes-dark
and light-summer and winter. For the traditional
yearbook pose, solid long-sleeved outfits in medium to dark
tones work best. For the rest of your session-
ANYTHING GOES! Be as creative as you like.
Don't be afraid to express yourself! We have
backgrounds to match any clothing you bring. |
